Day One in BANGKOK - SIAM OCEAN WORLD !!!

We were very excited for our Bangkok trip, from may to oct we were only planning where to go, how to go and how many days to spend in each city. Since it was our first international trip and we were amateurs in planning we looked for the cheapest ticket from Mumbai to Bangkok and we got one from Mumbai to Bangkok via Kolkata. The journey was amazing (not the long hours of waiting at Mumbai and Kolkata) because when we boarded the flight from Kolkata, it was a group of people from central part of India travelling to Pattaya (for obvious reasons !!!)  they were all singing songs and sharing jokes across the plane, for a moment we thought we are travelling in a train.  Suggestion: Please take a direct flight, stopovers are a task, because some airports you need to collect your luggage and check-in again.  We reached Bangkok and it was visa-on-arrival and a few moments here and there, a form to fill up (please carry a passport photo), a thousand bath (Thailand's currenc...

Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills - Offered by Coursera and Authorized by University of Michigan. - My Experience

It was lockdown all around, when my friend suggested for the course on Coursera. It's a beautiful app with many courses across various fields for the user to learn and upgrade the skills. I took this course in June 2020.

What I learnt: This course helped me understand that negotiations is not only about bargaining but a sophisticated and a detailed study & strategy about how to approach negotiations in every walk of corporate life. The course also helped me understand different types, styles, strategies and cross-culture negotiations which have been put across beautifully by Prof. George Siedel. The course also helps us understand negotiations through live examples. It also has small tests for us to understand what we studied in the course.

My Experience: It was a wonderful experience. Prof George Siedel explains the concepts beautifully with video examples. Its not too fast nor too slow. The concepts are made easy to learn and understand. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested to learn about negotiations.

Time duration: 7-Weeks. (as mentioned by coursera) I could complete it in 2-3 weeks.
