We were very excited for our Bangkok trip, from may to oct we were only planning where to go, how to go and how many days to spend in each city. Since it was our first international trip and we were amateurs in planning we looked for the cheapest ticket from Mumbai to Bangkok and we got one from Mumbai to Bangkok via Kolkata. The journey was amazing (not the long hours of waiting at Mumbai and Kolkata) because when we boarded the flight from Kolkata, it was a group of people from central part of India travelling to Pattaya (for obvious reasons !!!)  they were all singing songs and sharing jokes across the plane, for a moment we thought we are travelling in a train.  Suggestion: Please take a direct flight, stopovers are a task, because some airports you need to collect your luggage and check-in again.  We reached Bangkok and it was visa-on-arrival and a few moments here and there, a form to fill up (please carry a passport photo), a thousand bath (Thailand's currenc...

Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals - authorized by University of Virginia and offered by Coursera - My Experience

I was searching for some course on Project management and Agile to upgrade my skills. After a lot of search and on google and coursera I found the above mentioned course useful.

What I learnt: The course helped me understand, how to create a desirable product for our customers. it also gave me insights about understanding the relationship between user experience, technology and business. The course also covers the idea about the how different teams which comprises of designers, developers, finance, marketing, legal, sales, consulting, support and management need to work hand-in-hand to deliver a successful project.

My Experience: The experience was amazing, Prof. Alex Cowan describes the course in detail, with examples, live demos and short-plays to make us understand the situations better. The exams and the projects are also very interesting as it gives us a practical experience of what we will be doing in future. I would highly recommend the course for people who are looking to learn about Digital Product Management.

Time Duration: 4 Weeks (as mentioned by coursera) I could complete it in a week. Thanks to the Professor, as he made it interesting, that I was eager to complete it.
