Day One in BANGKOK - SIAM OCEAN WORLD !!!

Image
We were very excited for our Bangkok trip, from may to oct we were only planning where to go, how to go and how many days to spend in each city. Since it was our first international trip and we were amateurs in planning we looked for the cheapest ticket from Mumbai to Bangkok and we got one from Mumbai to Bangkok via Kolkata. The journey was amazing (not the long hours of waiting at Mumbai and Kolkata) because when we boarded the flight from Kolkata, it was a group of people from central part of India travelling to Pattaya (for obvious reasons !!!)  they were all singing songs and sharing jokes across the plane, for a moment we thought we are travelling in a train.  Suggestion: Please take a direct flight, stopovers are a task, because some airports you need to collect your luggage and check-in again.  We reached Bangkok and it was visa-on-arrival and a few moments here and there, a form to fill up (please carry a passport photo), a thousand bath (Thailand's currenc...

Doctors .. The GODs dressed in White!!!!

In 2020, the entire world came to a standstill, we all faced loads of challenges in life, some lost their jobs, some their near ones because of COVID, some of them lost their savings, some their hopes. But the ones who did not loose in front of Covid are the DOCTORS.  My words may or may not reach them but I would like to salute the Doctors who are relentlessly fighting this invisible enemy everyday. They have got scars over their faces by wearing masks for hours together, some have been sweating all day but could not change their clothes because they are trapped inside their PPE kits to fight for us. They hope to save every patient who turns to them, and in this fight against corona they try their level best to save every human being from this virus.   Medicines, Oxygen, PPE Kits, Ventilators, Injections may be scarce in numbers as compared to the population of our country, but for doctors even a few hundreds of these is a gift from GOD to help them fight this viru...

There is a very famous saying "whatever happens in Bangkok stays in Bangkok" It was the summer of 2015' when the four of us decided to go for an international trip. The place we shortlisted was THAILAND!!! The reasons were, it is cheap to travel, the currency is not so costly and the place where boys can have a lot of fun...  The trip was planned for October 2015 those five months every single day, unexplored or most visited or famous place for bachelors to visit were the most used search phrases on google. We had planned for an eight day trip. What we did there, how we went there, I will share all those experiences with all of you in my next parts. I would like to break our journey into 8 different parts so make you experience the time we spent in the vibrant country of THAILAND!!!  Photo by Mathew Schwartz on Unsplash

Elections 2021 - The ray of Hope...

"If elected I shall be thankful; if not, it will be all the same." - Lincoln Quotes.  I hope the winners of today's election result which were held across 4 states (West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Kerala) and One Union Territory - Puducherry in India will be thankful to the voters who came in times of Covid and voted for their representatives. For candidates who contested but lost, have a more responsible task to keep the elected representatives on toes to fulfill the promises made by them.  The First Test: I believe all the people who got elected already have a battle to fight against the unseen enemy - Corona Virus. People have been asking for help across the country which includes admissions in Hospital, Oxygen for the patients, medicines, vaccines etc. Saving the lives of people will be of utmost importance.  What's Next: Once things improve there are loads of challenges for these 5 states to tackle, revival of businesses which have been hit hard by the virus....
