Day One in BANGKOK - SIAM OCEAN WORLD !!!

We were very excited for our Bangkok trip, from may to oct we were only planning where to go, how to go and how many days to spend in each city. Since it was our first international trip and we were amateurs in planning we looked for the cheapest ticket from Mumbai to Bangkok and we got one from Mumbai to Bangkok via Kolkata. The journey was amazing (not the long hours of waiting at Mumbai and Kolkata) because when we boarded the flight from Kolkata, it was a group of people from central part of India travelling to Pattaya (for obvious reasons !!!)  they were all singing songs and sharing jokes across the plane, for a moment we thought we are travelling in a train.  Suggestion: Please take a direct flight, stopovers are a task, because some airports you need to collect your luggage and check-in again.  We reached Bangkok and it was visa-on-arrival and a few moments here and there, a form to fill up (please carry a passport photo), a thousand bath (Thailand's currenc...

Agile Meets Design Thinking - authorized by University of Virginia offered by Coursera - My Experience

This was second course in Digital Product Management Specialization. After completing the first course, I was energized and motivated to complete the second course in the specialization.

What I Learnt: This was my first theory session on Agile Project. This certification helps us understand what is Agile, How its managed, how to analyze Agile project, different roles for different people in an agile project. In short this session helps us understand how small is big. By making small efforts you can deliver a big project. Agile is fast, lean and continuous. It also touched points on new ways of learning, design thinking for Agile User stories and understanding the customer needs and outcomes. Agile project management also helps us to plan and use the resources effectively.

My Experience: I was enjoying it, It was a feeling of going back to school. The excitement to learn new things, complete new projects made this learning a nice experience. Prof. Alex Cowan was amazing in describing the course in detail, with examples, live demos and short-plays which made the course lively and much more easy to grasp. The exams and the projects are also very interesting as it gives us a practical experience of what we will be doing in future. I would highly recommend the course for people who are looking to learn about Agile meets Design Thinking.

Time Duration: 4 Weeks (as mentioned by coursera) I could complete it in a week.
